Arriving by plane
From Munich Airport
- A direct train service operates between Munich Airport and Regensburg main station.
- Furthermore there is a regular bus service – number 635 of Münchner Verkehrsbetriebe – from Terminal 2 to Freising Station. A direct train service from Freising takes you to Regensburg within 60 or 90 minutes.
- Alternatively, one can make use of the Airportliner, that offers airport transfer from Munich Airport to Regensburg. Please note that this service needs to be booked in advance.
From Nuremberg Airport
- A city bus or the subway will bring you to Nuremberg Main Station. A direct train service (approximately every hour) operates between Nuremberg and Regensburg. The train ride will take between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the type of train.
From Frankfurt Airport
- High-speed trains operate on a frequent basis between Frankfurt international airport and Regensburg (approx. 3.5h traveling).
Arriving by train
We would like to encourage participants to travel by train, as air travel has a significant negative and irreversible impact on our climate. It is scientifically proven that climate change is a threat to human well-being and the health of the planet.
High-speed trains (inter city express, ICE) operate on a frequent basis to and from Regensburg train station (For more information on train connections please refer to Deutsche Bahn).
- Upon arriving in at the Regensburg trainstation, the conference site can be reached by foot in about 25 minutes.
- Alternatively, public transportation between the train station and the Marinaforum conference site can by used. To that end, make sure to exit the train station via its northern exit (not via the mall that is located on the other side of the train tracks towards the south). You can use e.g. bus 10 (bus platform A5; direction "An der Irler Höhe") and exit after 6 minutes at "Prinz-Ludwig-Straße". From there is it a 350 meter walk to the conference site or bus 1, 5, 14, 15, 28, 77, 34 or 41 and exit at "Weissenburgstraße". From there is it a 900 m walk to the conferencee site. If you have bought a long-distance train ticket into Regensburg, you can usually use the local buses free of charge (make sure your train ticket states Regensburg + City).

Arriving by car
Regensburg is located at the crossing of motorways A3 and A93. Paid parking (8,00 €/ day) is available close to the conference site at the 24/7 parkhaus Marina Quartier (Navigation system: Von-Donle-Str. 5, 93055 Regensburg).
Arriving by bicycle
Regensburg is located on the Danube long distance bicycle route that covers a distance of around 2850 km from the source of the Danube to its estuary in the Black Sea. Regensburg is located at km 443, between Kelheim and Straubing.
